“Fred, let’s go to Clary’s Café today for breakfast.”
Fred: “Gee wiz, Mabel! We tried finding that place three times already!”
“Stop yelling, Fred.”
“Please, Mabel. Can you find out where that hideaway is first?”
“I already found out where it is Fred. It’s inside Lake Worth Towers. That’s why we missed it.”
“Gee, Mabel. No wonder we missed it. Let’s go right off!”
Welcome to another episode of Mabel and Fred.
Mabel and Fred are going to have a spectacular meal at Clary’s Café serving breakfast and lunch. It’s a hidden gem on Lucerne Ave. on the west side of town east of A Street inside a really really really tall building. For their Facebook page click on this link.
Clary’s is closed Sunday and Monday, open Tuesday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–1:00.
Have you ever been to Clary’s in Lake Worth Beach? If not then below is a helpful map.
As most of you are aware today is Run-Off Election Day and Clary’s is a happening place this time of year.
You may recall an earlier episode when Mabel and Fred both learned about the mayor and vice mayor of Palm Beach County. Following the election today there will be a few weeks of rest and then the focus will turn to 2020 and the August Primary and General Election. Worth noting is both PBC Mayor Mack Bernard (District 7) and Vice Mayor Dave Kerner (District 3) will be up for re-election in 2020 and both Districts 3 and 7 cover Lake Worth Beach.
And that delves into how important the Neighborhood Assoc. Presidents’ Council (NAPC) is in getting information out to the public. Because not only is Clary’s Café in Lake Worth Towers, that location is also a voting location too!
Here are the directions from the PBC Supervisor of Elections:
Lake Worth Towers is located of the north side of Lucerne Ave (which is a one-way street, westbound only), approx. 4/10 mile west of Dixie Hwy. and 2 blocks east of North A Street.
Lake Worth Towers and Clary’s Café are both located in the Tropical Ridge Neighborhood Assoc. (TRNA) neighborhood which lies within the greater Neighborhood Assoc. Presidents’ Council (see map below). To learn more about the mission of TRNA use this link.
What neighborhood are you located in? Find out by using this helpful GIS mapping tool or send an email to: napcinfo@gmail.com
Now why don’t you head on over to Clary’s Café real soon and you’ll have a lot to talk about, especially the latest about “Ripples” the pet alligator and the Residences of Lake Osborne neighborhood (shaded golden brown in map below).
And make sure to pick up the latest edition of The Lake Worth Herald while you are there too!
In map below see all the neighboring neighborhoods of Tropical Ridge west of Dixie Hwy. including Royal Poinciana and Commerce Park Village as well.
