PBSO District 14 - Lake Worth Beach - Covid 19 Update
A couple quick updates from today:
· While assisting with the food giveaway at the CRA Hatch Center, a call of an armed burglary was dispatched nearby (4th Ave North and North F Street). A suspect tried to break into two separate houses while armed with a knife. The suspect fled on foot from the deputies. A perimeter was established and K9 responded. The suspect was caught by the dog a few minutes later.
· Last week in Lake Worth Beach HANDGUN’S were stolen from two different vehicles. Both vehicles were left unlocked. PLEASE remove all valuables and particularly firearms from your vehicles. With this crisis there has been an uptick in criminals checking for unlocked vehicle doors. Those two handguns are now in the hands of criminals and may be used against a resident or deputy.
Be safe,
Captain Todd Baer
