More on the Lake Worth 'Birthday Cake Castle'—this years Red Cross Show House

     Interior designer Alexa Hampton will offer decorating advice and discuss her latest book Friday during a lecture and luncheon that complements the American Red Cross Designers’ Show House fundraiser.
     The luncheon at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan marks the return of the luncheon program to the show house’s annual schedule of events. The luncheon has the same title as Hampton’s latest book – Decorating in Detail.
     The show house opens Thursday for a month of tours at a historic house — known informally as the Birthday Cake Castle — overlooking the Lake Worth Lagoon in Lake Worth. Hampton is serving as honorary chairwoman of the project.
