Lake Worth Oceanside Farmers Market and Parking

One of our roving correspondents reports that she went to the Farmers Market, now being held in Ye Olde Bridge Park, yesterday morning.  She arrived at 8:30 a.m. and parked in the area where the Market was held before - which can be described as the southeast corner of Lake Avenue and A1A, or the north part of the western parking area of our beach property - right behind the casino building.  She walked across the street, browsed around and got back to her car around 9:05 a.m.  At 9:00 a.m., a ticket had been written for $25 and placed on her vehicle.  She parked where the signs directed her.  She says, "If I wasn't to park there, I don't have a clue where it was actually legal."

Welcome to the City of Lake Worth, thank you for visiting...Where is the free parking?  Did we have it before?  Why don't we have it now?  Who is enforcing this?

This has been e-mailed to the Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager and City Attorney.
