[CPNA] Bulk Amnesty Week

Dear Neighobrs,
Next week, November 14th through the 18th is Bulk amnesty week. That means you can put out as much bulk garbage as you need to. Items that are allowable for bulk pick up include furniture, appliances, mattresses, box springs etc. Please secure the doors on regrigerators to protect our children. Vegetation is not bulk and construction debris is not bulk.

If you live in College Park or anywhere in District 3, you can start putting bulk items at the curb on Saturday, November 12th, and add as much as you need to up until Thursday the 17th and it will all be picked up by the City on Friday the 18th.

Normally, bulk items can only be placed at the curb no earlier than 6pm on the day before the regularly scheduled pickup and there is a 4 cubic yard limit to how much bulk you can put out. For this amnesty period, there is no limit to how much bulk you can place at the curb.

If you don't live in College Park or anywhere in District 3, you can still start putting bulk items out on Saturday the 12th and it will be picked up on your usual bulk collection day; District 1 on Monday the 14th, District 2 on Thursday the 16th, District 4 on Tuesday the 15th.

Please remember that only during bulk amnesty week is it allowed to put bulk items out so many days before the pick-up. Please be as considerate as you can of your neighbors and consolidate your bulk items as much as you can at your curb so there is still room for people to park. For more information, please call Public Services at 533-7344.

Please feel free to share this information with your friends and neighbors who may not be on our email distribution list
