Do you remember when pastor Mike Olive wrote a prayer for me? And why I'm not impressed:

This is what the Lord Almighty says:
“Do not listen to what the [false] prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes.They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord."

Jeremiah 23:16
Above is a picture The Obtuse Blogger took of pastor Mike Olive of the Common Ground (no 's') church giving a sermon. Note the T-shirt, "LOVE > HATE".
The Obtuse Blogger (TOB) known for her KKK imagery, violent images, disparaging depictions of Black people, etc., frequently publicizes the Common Ground (no 's') church on her blog and has attended service there with little apparent effect on her behavior despite the guidance and counsel of pastor Mike Olive. She really could use a prayer or ten. Seriously now folks, posting images of the Klu Klux Klan, a mayor's image burning in effigy, and posts attacking Black people is a serious indication that something needs to be addressed.

As far as I know, pastor Olive has never written a prayer for TOB. But he wrote one for me! [check it out at the end of this blog post]

One of the roles of a pastor is to help communities and people find the common ground. Read what Romans 12 6–8 has about a pastor and his role in the community:
6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.
7 If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;
8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
You can see how the pastor has some work to do. A divinity school may be in order. Below is Mike Olive's prayer for me. And thanks to everyone at the Common Ground (no 's') church too. Odd, but you'd think a pastor would know to put a apostrophe after 'Jesus' (yes 's') in the possessive (no 's') form of sentence (no 's') structure (no 's' and yes 's').
