Instead of running candidates and having an open debate about the issues and choosing the best candidate, it appears that the opposition would rather run to Michael Buczyner at Channel 12 and complain about two of our Lake Worth Commissioners going to a League of Cities conference in Seattle. At that conference, perhaps they learned about how other communities are addressing on-going infrastructure problems, like potholes. Click title for link.
You don't need to stretch your memory too far back to when a former Commissioner jetted off to Bonn, Germany to give a 5 minute PowerPoint presentation on how resilient Lake Worth was. I guess part of that resiliency didn't come from money spent on maintenance of our streets.
