COVID-19 Impacts on Local Traffic Palm Beach County, Florida

The amount of traffic on our roadways has drastically reduced since the issuance of executive and local orders related to Coronavirus (COVID-19). The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) provides permanent traffic counter sites for a few major roadways within Palm Beach County. The graphic shows the site located on Interstate 95 in West Palm Beach. Comparing this past Wednesday to two weeks ago, traffic has reduced around 40% (~80,000 vehicles) between the hours of 6 AM and 7 PM. The TPA will continue to monitor the impacts to transportation due to COVID-19. Click here for more FDOT information on traffic counts.
