The Lake Worth Art League is hanging its 1000th art exhibit . . . As a perfect tribute to this landmark occasion, members brought in over 60 paintings, photographs, and mixed-media pieces bursting with the colors and visions of Spring.

The Lake Worth Art League is a 501(c)3 non-profit and the oldest art organization in Palm Beach County. It began in January 1941 with 30 artists showing their first exhibit in the Strait Museum, which is now the Children’s Room in the Lake Worth Public Library.In the past 77 years the Lake Worth Art League has had many exhibit spaces throughout Lake Worth including Casino Building which became the “Gallery by the Sea,” the City Hall Annex Building, and today, in the Artist’s Eye Gallery & Boutique.
