Melbourne, Australia's Bike Sharing Program struggles against the mandatory helmet law there...

The following is a commute by bike from the outskirts of Melbourne to the downtown area.  They drive on the left there and this person keeps up a pretty good pace.  This is not taken from one of the ride sharing bikes, but check out the dedicated bike lines through parks and along the river, the number of people using bikes to commute, etc.  Most importantly, if you think the video is a little long, check out the last few minutes.  The rider enters a bike park station, it appears to be an "attended" area where you can pick up a towel, park your bike in a spacious weather-proof facility and take a shower so that you arrive fresh to work.
