Bike ride through the beach today at noon...

Bill and I extended our usual ride through the beach around noon today.  It was fairly busy and the weather showed no threat of rain, yet.  This was the tail end of our ride so it would have been nice to have some easily accessible shade where you don't feel obligated to pay for something like a $2.50 soft-drink.  That would be in the arcade area near the Casino shops.  There are relatively few places to sit in the shade period.  The pergola here provides some, but one would have to ask if a solid material that provided uniform shade would have been a better choice. Maybe this is an improvement that could be made in the future?

Otherwise, it was a lovely day on the bikes and the ocean looked very inviting.
