I find myself in the midst of non-stop campaigning - which is a good thing, but there are only so many hours in a day. On the campaign propaganda front, handbills and stickers are IN. Shoot me your order at wesfor3@gmail.com Also be sure to stop by the parking lot across from the Post Office tomorrow to say "Hi" at my park-for-a-day parking space. I'll have an easel there where you can jot down whatever you want about what Lake Worth means to you. I plan to share some or all of those recollections here later on.
More campaign info: Signs come in tomorrow. We are numbering and registering signs. This means you will have to sign a permission form that indicates the address where the sign will be placed. There are three reasons for this 1) so that we have documented permission from the property owner or tenant that it's o.k. for a Wes Blackman sign to be there, 2) so that we have a record of a sign being placed if it comes up missing and 3) so that we can retrieve and recycle signs after the November 3 election. That way, stealing signs will be a crime against nature, not just against the law. A little more paperwork, but I think it will help solve a lot of the problems that we have had in the past.
