No word on Lake Worth values. Here is Jupiter's situation:

In Jupiter, officials plans on eliminating about 25 out of 400 full-time town positions, said Town Manager Andy Lukasik. Town officials were already looking at layoffs due to decreasing state sales tax revenue and less money from town building permits, said Lukasik.

Severance packages are expected to be offered to employees. While layoffs will hit all departments, Lukasic expects engineering, parks and recreation and public works to lose the most employees.

"Jupiter is no longer a growth community. The morale around here is very stressful," said Lukasic.
