The City of Lake Worth Beach is reopening the Beach, Beach Park, and Pier at sunrise on Monday, May 18. The beach will close and be cleared daily at Sunset, no one will be allowed on the beach after hours.
To facilitate social distancing measures all beach patrons should adhere to the following guidelines:
Listen to the directions of Ocean Rescue staff.
Keep groups to 10 people or less
Stay 6 ft Apart
Swim near guarded areas
Use showers one person at a time
Practice good hygiene and hand washing
Wear a face mask where possible.
The beach parking lot will have 50% of spots reopened (as indicated in image below). Parking meters are active but patrons are encouraged to use ParkMobile to pay for parking instead of the parking meters. All resident parking spaces are reopened and 2019/2020 resident parking passes expiration date has been extended to July 1. In accordance with Governor DeSantis Executive Order 20-112, all beach tenants may increase their indoor capacity to 50% and are encouraged to continue making use of outdoor seating.
