County Engineer George Webb: Okeechobee Boulevard to be reconfigured to multiway boulevard | WalkableWPB

This is great news. Long-time County Engineer George Webb has seen the light and agrees that a more pedestrian friendly Okeechobee Boulevard is needed. Getting across that roadway now, if you are coming from the Convention Center to City Place is only a thing for the hale, hearty and fearless. His concept would be to establish a "multi-way" which would provide places for pedestrians to more safely rest as they wait for traffic to pass.
