Interesting Post from County Commissioner Steven Abrams on TS Isaac
"I met with the Governor, along with other commissioners and emergency officials, at the EOC this morning. Palm Beach County was the hardest hit of all of Florida’s 67 counties from TS Isaac, although thankfully the impact was minor in my coastal district. As of last night, a total of $8.79 million in damages have been reported. Officials explained that the State needs to hit a threshold of $20 million to be eligible for certain FEMA grants, so if you have any damage to report, please contact the EOC at 561-712-6400, so we can maximize assistance to our fellow citizens in the western communities. For all my District 4 coastal residents, this means that if you had any beach erosion, you can report that, and it will count toward the $20 million." - FaceBook post made on 8/29
