I heard Golden say that the homeless get drunk because they need to drink beer to fulfill their hunger. Not her exact wording. But pretty close.
Did Scott M. get the Commission to talk about the beach and Casino project, the Inspector General's request, and the seawall?
Golden says that people tell her about homeless people and they don't like them hanging around drinking beer. She said they are drinking beer to not feel hungry. Her message was that we need to help those that don't have what we have.
Sure Joanne, but we also need to enforce our laws. I agree that we don't have sufficient resources for the homeless in our County but permitting them to break the law is not the solution.
