Press Release Willie at his finest - click title for link.  This only tells part of the story - luck could be equally to blame for such reliability.  Not surprised that Mr. Howard didn't write about "affordability" and "responsive customer service" - guess we will have to wait a few years for those articles.

Picture from the High Noon in Lake Worth Internet radio show...

Commissioner-to-be John Szerdi and yours truly during today's (9/14) show.  I seem more interested in what was going on with my cellphone than looking at the camera.  We'll try to get similar pictures with future guests appearing on the show.

Fort Worth, Texas, Official Web Site Home Page

Another example of a "Worth-y" website.  We are going to be upgrading ours, which is long overdue.  Click title for link.

BREAKING NEWS – Digital Domain Exec acknowledges WPB entitled to land back | City of WPB

More of the information stream coming from the larger city to the north of Lake Worth.  Will we see such updates in the future coming from 7 North Dixie Hwy?  I hope so and have reason to believe that we will be getting more information from City Hall.  The newsletter is a start.  But will we ever see things like the announcement related to the outcome of the Greater Bay lawsuit, for example.  Click title for link.

Water taxis: Palm Beach County to promote water taxi service. - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

Currently underutilized, this feature would make Palm Beach County a more attractive place to visit.  Click title for link.

Transparency: City makes its upcoming proposed budget public | City of WPB

Example of how our municipal neighbor to the north handles their public information related to their budget.  Check out the entire website too - impressive.  Click title for link.

Lake Worth Centennial - Lake Worth 100

Click title for link to the Lake Worth Centennial website.  You will find a proposed schedule of events associated with the City's Centennial, along with predicted dates.  It is all interesting reading and looks like it is going to be a fun-filled year celebrating our city's history.  The Centennial Committee has established 501c3 status so that donations can  be accepted.  Expect more news on specific events in the near future!
