Endorsement: Amoroso for Lake Worth commission

This is what the PBP says...I think they may be reading what goes on here more often.

Incumbents and challengers in this election and in the mayor's race generally agreed that City Manager Susan Stanton is tough-minded but needs to improve communication and be less abrasive with the public. Mr. Amoroso expressed that position more strongly than others.

My thought on Andy getting elected is what we need, but without the election of Pam, we will be dead in the water. We need a majority to "dump" Susan Stanton, she is toxic. The social experiment cookded by Jennings has failed. Lake Worth has been like watching Rocky Horror Picture Show all over again. We need to get moving forward. What I would like to see in the city of Lake Worth is sitting commissioner who will act as individuals and not become part of the pack... stop playing follow the leader. These are my thoughts.

I know that politicians used to promise a chicken in every pot, is Andy promising a d*ldo in every doorway?

During Golden's 4.5 years the city has gotten worse every year.
Golden's backing of the X Beach Tenants with poor payment records and poor credit is crimminal and will substantially reduce any Loan we can get on the Casino rents.

Anon at 6:47 - how moronic. Am guessing you didn't make it through high school?

I generally agree with the positions noted in this Post editorial regarding Andy. My concern is that while Andy may be a good representative of the downtown district and businesses in general, he is being elected to represent Dist. 3, which is where I live. Is he going to be so overly concerned with downtown that he fails to represent his actual constituants? Really, Dist. 3 doesn't include much of downtown at all.

You're kidding right? I haven't seen, received a return phone call or email from Joann Golden in 4 1/2 years. I'd rather have someone working for the business community than the illegals all the time.

Joann does always respond to my emails, I don't always agree with her response but she does respond.
