The mayor is losing popularity fast, most now do not want to support him or attend these coffee with the mayors or his talk at the Playhouse on the finanical crisis of the city. The mayor used to attend so many NA meetings and events, go on crime walks and cleanups, he did so much to be elected to mayor and then once in office, he never attends any of these such events anymore, so many have lsot respect for the new Rene the politician and hypocrite. They do so much to get elected and then once in do not want to hear from their consituents or respond to their calls, letters, or e-mails. Most will not support Rene anymore as he does not respect his constiuents, why should we support him?

I think that one of the more telling comments by the Mayor during the discussion on whether or not the Commission followed its ordinance on board appointments was that he "just directs traffic during the meetings and tries to get a result."

Does he think that people elect the Mayor to run the meetings or direct the policy of the city?

If experienced people like Cara will not be in attendance at the Coffee with the Mayor, what will he have to say? If we ask a direct question, will he walk out of the meeting?
