Is constructing a new reservoir in Palm Beach County to the tune of $1.4B. . .

. . . the best way to use Federal and state funding to help clean up the environment?

Or focus on human #*~! instead?

Why the question? Have you ever heard of biosolids? And below is a quite informative video as well.

Everyone is well aware of the “other human poop problem” along the Treasure Coast and St. Lucie River basin and estuary: that problem would be leaking and un-inspected septic tanks.

And at a recent meeting of the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council a Martin County commissioner,

“[N]oted there are approximately 10,000 septic tanks in [unincorporated] Martin County [emphasis added] and for the past 30 years the approach has been for neighborhoods to request water and sewer services from the county, which takes a very long time. . . . He stated the sewer conversion program discussion is an opportunity for Council to engage at the state level, as well as continuing with the biosolids issue.”

What exactly is all that about the ‘biosolids issue’?

Below is a video from an exclusive TCPalm story about, “Deregulated human waste dumping pollutes state waters

Must say, the horn beeps
in this video are quite clever:
