Political ad published in a former tabloid that once littered our Downtown Cultural Plaza and neighborhood streets.

Both Ryan Maier and Christopher McVoy, PhD,
won their elections in March 2015.

However, in March 2017 it was a different story. Maier opted not to run for re-election in District 4 and the editor at the Post — in the endorsement for now District 2 Commissioner Omari Hardy —
uncivilly called McVoy a “gadfly”:

“It’s healthy to have opposing views on a decision-making body, but McVoy has become so predictably contrary that he has lost effectiveness. That’s the argument that his chief opponent, [Omari] Hardy, is making — and it’s a good one.”

Fast-forward to 2018. . .

District 4 is now represented by Commissioner Herman C. Robinson. Click on this link for the elected representation in this City of Lake Worth: Mayor, Vice Mayor, Vice Mayor Pro Tem and the commissioners representing Districts 1–4.

Not sure in which District your business or residence is located? It’s very easy to find out using this GIS map provided by the City.

And please note the ‘tabloid’ referenced above is not to be confused with The Lake Worth Herald:
