“Lake Worth Has Talent III” at Lake Worth Playhouse is next Sunday!

Below is more information about the Big Show:
How to purchase tickets and showtime.

Have you ever seen the video of Jamie Brown and his rendition of Soulshine at the very first Lake Worth Has Talent show? See that video below.

It was this performance that people are still talking about, it brought the house down, a rousing standing applause by the crowd that stirred up the ghosts at the Playhouse too. If you didn’t know Lake Worth Has Talent is held annually at the Lake Worth Playhouse to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.

Who is Jamie Brown? That would be the City of Lake Worth’s Director of Public Services. In the Tweet below is Mr. Brown with Lake Worth Mayor Pam Triolo getting the word out about road closures and parking restrictions last week.

A Tweet from the City:

“Lake Worth Has Talent III” on October 28th: Doors open 6:00 at the Playhouse. The show begins at 6:30.

Tickets are $30. For more information and to purchase tickets click on this link.

About the video: Mark Easton was in attendance that Sunday afternoon. Easton is the publisher of The Lake Worth Herald and he had to quickly switch cameras to get this performance of the Blues classic, Soulshine.

Enjoy!

FYI: “Soulshine” is a song recorded by The Allman Brothers Band and released on their 1994 album “Where It All Begins,” written by guitarist Warren Haynes with vocals by Gregg Allman. Song’s title originates from Haynes’ nickname, given by his father. Although never released as a single, it still remains one of the Allmans’ best known songs among fans and concert-goers.
