Here is another comment on Pinkie's blog that went unanswered:
Lynn Anderson: Ok, then, why not ask Key West how a low rise city has hurt them? Ask any low-rise city about how well financially they are doing? Delray? Vero? Jacksonville Beach? Come back and report.

Key West is an international tourist desitnation. Lake Worth is not.
There are multiple hotels in Key West some of which are 65 feet tall.
There are no hotels for tourists in Lake Worth.
Lake Worth has been a low rise city for 100 years. We are next to the bottom in Palm Beach county financially.
Why don't YOU TELL ME how a low rise city is hurting us financially.

Hmmmm. Interesting.
And even more interesting will be the explanations they will need if they win this vote. How do you explain what was indeed won? The death knell for the Gulfstream and a downtown with more vacancies and thrift stores?

This is what has Lynn Anderson, aka, Pinkie the Revisionist Blogging Clown, on her heels. BTW, we're waiting for Pinkie to deny this post was on her blog, as of now, she's equivocating, not denying it was posted on her blog; but we are a patient group. Without further ado, Lynn allowed these comments to be posted on her blog:

Later, someone Lynn thought to be Greg Rice wrote, commented on her blog:
"as we redevelop". Since you are so in the know politically I'm sure you are aware there hasn't been a new commercial development project in Lake Worth in over 2 years. Where are "we" redeveloping?

Pinkie likes to portray herself as taking the high road. What do you think? OK, Lynn...you disagree with Loretta Sharpe and Greg Rice, politically? Loretta Sharpe is a CANCEROUS REALTOR? Obviously you are referring to her current health problems. And Greg Rice? He's a bigger person than you will ever be, even in your dreams.
Shame on you, Lynn Anderson.

And here is another nice little tidbit, on a post from Pinkie's blog with a picture of Mary Lindey's house with a "NO" sign on the front yard. What follows is an anonymous comment and Pinkie's response:

I will not speak of Mary's resume, but consider this:
Pinkie, Lynn Anderson has:
-NEVER been elected to any office in Lake Worth
-NEVER ran for any political office
-NEVER served on any volunteer board
-NEVER served on any advisory boards
-NEVER volunteers her time for the city, ever
But, SHE KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU.
Vote No on March 12.

Compare LA's service to the city by posting to her blog and generally being a CAVE r. (Citizen Against Virtually Everything) to the public service of ANY of the other blog owners.
