Lynn Anderson sent a link to this YouTube video today...
It is a video of my DUI arrest from September 2011. I was found not-guilty by a jury trial in September 2012 and I have met all DMV requirements. Apparently, the "Yes" folks think I must be a threat.
Why now? Perhaps they can't with deal a superior argument and must resort to going LOW

OK, correct me if I am wrong. Lynn Anderson has never run for any elected office. That is correct? Lynn Anderson has never volunteered to serve ANY city board in ANY capacity.Correct? Lynn Anderson has never served in ANY capacity, other than her blog, to "better" the city? And she purports to lead Lake Worth forward? Am I missing something?
If I had wanted to use this video I would have. I don't resort to your tactics and sent it to you in a private e-mail. The video is factual whether or not you got off on the charge. Why in hell would you want to put this up on your blog? Were the cops out to get you or did you have a smooth lawyer? I am sure if this happened to me you would have posted it on your blog immediately. What a guy. Coming clean. Badge of honor. This video has nothing to do with the forthcoming election even though you want to twist that around to your advantage. You want to now seem like an injured soul by someone thinking you are a threat. Is this part of your revisionist stuff? No one is using this video. No one is "going low." You do and did that all on your own. Try that one for an argument.
Lynn Anderson has no experience, ability or wisdom in any area. her primary "contributions" are to be a useful idiot from time to time and to be a squeeky wheel.
Lynn continues to prove why she must associate with people like the Macs and has been electeds.
The video is not just a re-publication of something that is public information. This video has been edited, has background music and scrolling language at the end that refers to the Lucerne building and how that represents bad judgement - as if the only tall building downtown was solely due to my "poor judgement. It was posted on January 2nd and could have been used long before that. Timing in everything...your people have to make a villain out of someone, I guess.
This falls lower than low Wes. It's beneath contempt. Unfortunately, it's not the first time the powers that brought us this ridiculous ballot question have used these kinds of tactics to try and trash reputations and it probably won't be the last.
I salute your courage to stand firm in your beliefs and for not yielding to the vicious intimidation this video implies.

Or the Lynn Anderson that professes to be a card carrying conservative capitalist then cries on her blog "developers will make money, realtors will make money, planners will make money, local newspapers will make money".
Her "best commission ever" proclaimed kayaking and ecotourism would save Lake Worth. How much money is that making for the city?

Thanks Dee - your caps lock problem gives you away. For your and everybody's information, I started biking again - something I have enjoyed throughout my entire life off and on - as a New Year's Resolution in January 2011. You are right in that for a period of time I was unable to drive and that just reinforced what I was already doing and it caused me to integrate biking more into my daily life and it continues to this day - even though I am now able to drive.
Since starting to bike again, I have lost almost 60 pounds - an achievement which I guess upsets some people? Nice.
Why would you care why anyone rides a bike? That's truly bizarre.
But then again you are defending Lynn Anderson who spends part of her days attacking good decent hardworking people and the other part conspiring to get people fired from their jobs.
Why should it upset anyone? Other than the fact you will probably live longer. Is that what you are alluding to? Congratulations on losing weight. Usually out of one bad thing comes a good one.
Lynn's catching hell today. When Pinkie saw that terrible picture of herself on your blog her first reaction was to push back. "Hey, look what I got!" Never in her wildest imagination did she figure you would post it. That video was set for posting on Sunday before the vote this March to take you down. She screwed up big time. Looks like the work of larry mcnamara.

The video looks like the work of a group of very nervous people that have nothing better to do and have been caught in a big fat lie.
They see how accurate you were when blogging about the problems at the casino and the light of truth pains them.
Personally I think it was the post from your planner friend that was 100% accurate while destroying their lies and myth making that sent them over the top.
After all you can't argue facts.
What a joke. The video was done by someone who knows what they're doing. Maybe Wes did it himself. You were a first-classed $%^& to post it. Why do you want the world to know you got charged, hand cuffed and lost your license for a year for drinking and driving? Is that smart?
Trust me, I didn't do it myself, but it was out there and I wanted to hit it head on. My choice.
It was a great decision to post the video yourself Wes. The editing wasn't done for the editor's amusement but to be used by pinkie and her dispicable gang of miscreants at the time they deemed most appropriate. March 8th perhaps? But you beat them to the punch and as long as you didn't do any damamge to anyone or anything, and don't do it again who cares?
What Pinkie and the dispicables were planning to do with the video says a whole lot more about them than a dui.
It's hard to believe Lynn sent this to you out of the kindness of her heart. Just to let you know it's "out there". Does anyone believe that?

Now... to critique your performance.... I thought you did quite well. You stood still and never so much as swayed. Yes, you slurred your words twice but that could have been because you were in that position in the first place.
It's no wonder you were acquitted.
You did the right thing by posting it, to head off any advantage they were trying to get out of it.
The moral of the story here is do not drink and drive. Some lessons are harder to learn than others. Even though I was found not guilty, it is a process that I would not wish on anyone, but I have tried to make the most of a bad situation and if I can help others avoid a similar fate, all the more reason to post this here. It can and does happen to a lot of people.
The stop was made as part of what they call a "saturation" patrol. A group of law enforcement officers wait off of a major road and look for the most mild of offenses - mine happened to be turning right on red where it was posted that was prohibited. I also followed a car in front of me who did the same thing and they were pulled over too.
One thing led to another and you can see the result in this video. It is a day I would choose not to relive and I too am glad that no one or nothing was hurt.
DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.
