CITY OF LAKE WORTH FY 2012 JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Please join the City of Lake Worth for a Public Meeting to discuss the upcoming Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program for Fiscal Year 2012. During this meeting the City of Lake Worth staff will describe eligible uses of JAG funds and solicit public input on uses of this funding opportunity.

An allocation of $33,937 in Local JAG Program funds is to be made available to the City of Lake Worth for Fiscal Year 2012. Eligible uses of these funds include the following activities:

• Law enforcement programs;
• Prosecution and court programs;
• Prevention and education programs;
• Corrections and community corrections programs;
• Drug treatment and enforcement programs;
• Planning, evaluation and technology improvements programs; and
• Crime victim and witness programs (other than compensation).
