I smell a rat...

This is appearing as a "current" news item in the Palm Beach Post.  Look at the screen grab above and check the updated and posted dates.  This is OLD news and somehow, someway, it was "up-dated" today.  Do we need any more evidence of the Post's collusion in the electoral process here?

In the interest of being “fair and balanced”, perhaps they should mention the part about how the Post libeled Tom in articles describing his leaving the Chamber & then paid a substantial out-of-court settlement in compensation for their lousy journalism. LW is just a Petri dish for the Post editorial board’s vision for community development, whatever that might be. Now that News of the World is gone, they’d make an excellent addition to Rupert Murdoch’s NewsCorp empire. Just another reason to cancel your subscription, as I have.
Believe me, you won't miss it. You can get your movie reviews on line & the coupons are not worth the aggrevation.

Why shouldn't voters be reminded that one candidate for mayor plans to sue the city he seeks to lead?
I,for one, knew he'd sued the Post over their reporting of his firing by the Chamber of Commerce. I wasn't aware he planned to sue the City too.
Pretty revealing, I'd say.

This is OLD news and it should not be "freshened" with a new date by a so-called "Newspaper of Record." This is BS.

Maybe I should put the link to Rachel's foreclosures, judgments and liens at the top of my blog today.

Good work Wes!

Unless you know where to look or search for it this article does not show up on the "current news" pages of the Post.

Interestingly "pro-Ramiccio" comments were made on the article this morning before the posted update time and may have "triggered" the update.

If there was a rat they would have made the article surface on the "current" news pages at the Post Website. It doesn't and other than you and Lynn nobody would have had reason to lock at it again.

That might explain it. Funny that Lynn would be so eager to post it. Yes, there is a rat...one guess what her name is.

The nice thing about paranoia is that it provides a ready explanation for anything and everything.

If the Post actually had a history of ethical investigative journalism regarding Lake Worth, this would be fine. But they don't.

The Post's coverage of Lake Worth is sorely lacking, no doubt. But nothing in the Ramiccio lawsuit story is inaccurate, and the threat to sue has not been withdrawn.

Steve, were only the same true regarding accuracy in stories of the so-called progressives, darlings of the Palm Beach Post for some unfathomable reason. Particularly when the truth (not blog-o-hype) is well documented. You know me to be well left of center...
in my opinion none of the decisions by the current commission and management could be considered net positives for Lake Worth, regardless of one's political views.

The same can be said for past commissions, but we're dealing with here and now.

sorry guys but comments wont "update" a story...this was intentional.....Willie probably added a period or comma to the story so it would recycle to the top....good catch Wes

Smart move, Post. It doesn't pay to screw around with someone who has the memory of an elephant and can eventually beat you to a pulp.
