Why no locations in Lake Worth? Is anyone on the Commission or city staff plugged into the rest of the world?

Wes,
Ted and I are taking the lead to have Kiwanis adopt Snook Islands for quarterly clean-ups. Our first event will be April 4th 8-11:30am. Ted should have a press release shortly. We hope to see you there. In this day and age, we can't expect government to do what we as citizens can do just as well, if not better, by working together. We hope to use this a unifying effort focusing on one of our greatest assets in this city!
Best,
Rene'

Sounds good - time to get on the waders! Let me know when the press release is ready and I'll post it.

Just to clarify, I didn't expect our local city government to assume any extra expense. It would be nice, however, to see evidence of being a part of the physical environment we are in and some ability to communicate that importance to its citizens. That should just happen - but never seems to in out little berg.
