Swearing in Ceremony for Suzanne Mulvehill - Special Commission meeting 11/21

It started out sounding like a resignation speech but he ended up expressing his disappointment in dealing with one-year Commission terms - he thinks they're are too short. He also had nice things to say about former Commissioner Vespo.

Magnanimous remarks by Dave Vespo saying that he left Lake Worth safer than when his term began.

Commissioner Mulvehill thanked her supporters, holding back tears, and the entire community. Says that we have work to do in many areas - "full public control of our beach." - no commercial tenants? She said that Lake Worth treasures its people, its history and all that the city represents. Then she finished by quoting Socrates saying that we should not fight the past but build the future.
